Library information in different languages

The library is open to everyone.

At the library you will find books for children and adults in various languages, newspapers, magazines, language courses, community information, music, film, computers, etc.

Borrowing books at the library is free of charge.

In order to borrow books you need a library ticket which is issued free of charge.

Borrowing time is usually 4 weeks, but may be shorter. Check your receipt!

You are responsible for the books you borrow. If they are lost or become damaged or if you return them too late you may have to pay compensation to the library.

If you do not find what you are looking for at the library, e.g. books in your language, contact the staff. In many cases, the library can obtain what you are looking for by way of purchase or by borrowing books from other libraries.

Visit the library website – here you can search for the library’s books in the catalogue. You can also reserve books, see which books you have borrowed, re-borrow your books, etc. You find the address to the right.

Thursday: 10-20
Friday: 9.00-18.00
Saturday: 11.00-16.00
Sunday: 12.00-16.00

Opening hours – summer 1/5- 31/8:

Monday - Wednesday:  9.00-19.00
Thursday: 10.00-19.00
Friday: 9.00-18.00
Saturday: 11.00-15.00
Sunday: closed
