Kalmar Energi

The company, celebrating 100 years anniversary 2008, delivers only renewable electricity and has a strong environmental profile. Now the work is intensively going on with the constructing of an energy plant for next generation; a heating plant producing both electricity and heat. The plant will cover more than three quarters of the need of heat in Kalmar and one third of the need of electricity of Kalmar. The heating plant will be in operation at the end of 2009.
