Parking for visitors and commuters
If you are a visitor in Kalmar you can buy occasional car park tickets. The fee depends on which parking zone you are located at. If you are a regular commuter, you can buy a day-ticket. Whichever ticket you choose, you need to respect the maximum parking time at the parking zone. If there is no sign at the parking lot about parking time, the 24-hours rule applies.

Please note that as visitor or commuter, you don't need to apply for parking permisson for residents even if the parking lot should be marked as residential parking.
Please note that we have different parking areas and parking zones in Kalmar. Within one parking area there can be several parking zones. If you buy a car park ticket in a yellow zone at Kvarnholmen (Kalmar City), you can move your car to another parking lot in another yellow zone at Kvarnholmen within the parking time. But you can not move your car to another yellow zone in another parking area, for example Malmen. These rules also apply for motorcycles.

The garage has 50 spaces and is open to the public Monday-Friday 9am to 7pm and Saturdays 9am to 3pm. Maximum parking time 3 hours.
